Training:

Extra-Curricular:
- Orchestrated and maintained various extra-curricular activities for students such as the Bring Back the Wild Club and Club Moo
- Developed traditions in the school such as the Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony and Student Lead Conferences
- Developed and lead overnight field trips to Writing-On-Stone, Waterton National Park and the Alberta Legislature for grade 5/6 students
- Coached badminton for the Jr. High and High School, as well as assisted in coaching girl’s volleyball
- Worked with specialists in the community to engage students in various subjects including Roots of Empathy, John Howard Society and Scientists in the Classroom
Physical/Medical/Emotional Training:
- CPI training at District Board Office
- Trained at District 51 to learn effective approaches and resolution practices for children with emotional and behavioural issues
- Worked with children with behavioural needs and learning disabilities with the classroom and effectively found solutions for issues and concerns that arose
Volunteer Experience:
- Independently worked both at home and in the neighbourhood with children who have behavioural and developmental needs
- Keeping an “Open Door” policy regarding troubled children in the community
- Volunteered at Fleetwood Bawden School for the Reading Program for grades one through to three
- Volunteered in the various classrooms of Fleetwood Bawden School to assist the students in better comprehension of the material and helped the teacher to provide learning support
- Acted as a volunteer in Wilson Middle School in the Knowledge and Employability Program
- Volunteered in Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School with a grade five classroom
- Volunteering with Lethbridge Immigrant Services to teach English to recent immigrants in Lethbridge
